AARP Driver Safety Program The AARP Driver Safety Program is a two-day refresher course, designed to help those 55 years and older tune up their driving skills, allowing for normal age-related physical changes. Classes are $12 for AARP members, and $14 for non-members. 
 Braille Institute The Braille Institute will offer a FREE seminar on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  The classes are for those individuals experiencing difficulty with daily tasks due to sight loss.  Seminars will be held at the Live Oak Park Community Center.

Linkages Program Offers free case management services to eligible seniors (ages 60 and older) and adults with disabilities (ages 18 and older), affording them the ability and independence to remain safely at home and in the community. Onsite assistance is available at the Live Oak Park Community Center on the first and third Mondays of the month from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Services are also available by appointment.

Lions Sight Program The Lions Sight Program provides free vision care for low-income seniors (ages 62 and older), or disabled persons with a yearly income below $25,900. Participants must live in Temple City to qualify. A Lions Recycle for Sight Program drop-off box is located at Live Oak Park Community Center with prescription and non-prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses accepted.
Lions Club
Senior Wellness Series The Senior Wellness Series provides information about making wise health decisions for certain age-related symptoms. The workshops are held at Live Oak Park Community Center on the third Wednesday of each month from 10 – 11 a.m. Free and open to seniors, their families and caregivers.
