Operators of all businesses, trades, professions and occupations are required to obtain a business license from the City.   Prior to accepting an application to conduct business, Staff will verify that the business enterprise or activity is allowed at the proposed location based upon Zoning restrictions.   Once a location has been selected and approved, a prospective business owner or operator may submit a license application packet at the public counter in City Hall.  Commercial licenses are $75 annually, Contractor licenses are $86 and Home Occupation licenses are $64 per year.   Specialty business licenses vary by type of business.  License fees are pro-rated quarterly, with the exception of contractor licenses.
