Public Services Department

The Public Services Department is comprised of three divisions - Public Safety, Public Works, and Maintenance.  It also maintains the Parking Administration program for the City.

Public Safety

The Public Safety Division consists of the Code Enforcement, Animal Control and Public Safety Volunteer programs.  It oversees contracts for law enforcement with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD), crossing guards, and traffic engineering services.

Public Works

The Public Works Division is responsible for the City's infrastructure including maintenance and repair of the streets, sidewalks, traffic signals and City parking facilities.

Maintenance

The Maintenance Division provides tree maintenance services and manages the graffiti abatement program.

Parking Administration

The Parking Administration is responsible for the coordination of the municipal parking enforcement operations and also issues special residential parking permits.
